I’d been trying for some time to get Children of Eden performed again in Berkshire, so was really pleased when ROS took it up for its Spring 2016 show at the Kenton Theatre.
It was staged pretty much black box so, as always, lighting had to paint the scenes.
We left the Kenton standard lighting rig pretty much as was and laid across it a total of eight LED moving head washes, six moving head profiles and eight ETC Lustrs. Plus a couple of front of house Source 4 specials. Three long days and 210 cues later we had Eden and the Flood in the bag.
Five great performances followed, with good feedback including this excellent review from the Henley Standard.
